Cleats & shin guards

Check out these cute shins & feet all decked out for Soccer!
Cooper has joined the K-2 school team.
He has also learned how to tie his own shoes recently! Funny how wearing cleats inspired him to learn how to tie shoes.

He had ball duty the day I took my camera.

He's doing really well in Kindergarten. He loves it!

We're pretty proud of this little man.

Railroad Glory Day

A wonderful local event is the Railroad Glory Days. We've made it an annual family event for 4 years now (tons of trains & $3 admission, why wouldn't we!) Rob & the boys had to go without me this year because I was home with strep throat. I HATED to miss this fun day, but Rob took pictures.
Here are a few:

It's hard to believe how much Brady has changed since this event last year when he still had his baby curls.

We sure do love trains!

A Brady Reason

This morning when I asked Brady why he had gotten into our bed in the middle of the night instead of staying in his own bed, he very matter-0f-factly stated, "there were no people in my bed."

Not a bad way to start the day

I'm not usually outside before 6 am (or 7am - Saturday), but for the last few days I've been taking care of our neighbors horses which has had me outside at these 'early' hours. We've had beautiful weather, and it has been the nicest way to start my days. I've just loved it! It could almost make me a morning person (almost).
Here's my walk over:

The girls heading out after their breakfast.

Have a nice day, girls, I'll see you tonight!

First Fish

Cooper caught his first fish today. He says "fishing may be the coolest thing ever."
