Even sick days can be sweet days when you have a house full of love.
On Thursday morning, Brady came down with a tummy bug. After two days of snuggling and laying low, Brady does seems back to normal. The boys certainly have their moments of irritation with each other, especially now that they like to play with the same toys, but over-all, they are so loving towards each other.

The excitement is building as he "discovers" more and more hidden bones. At around 4:30pm, I suggested that he take a break, but he informed me that "real archaeologists don't take breaks." He is dusty, the table & floor are even more dusty, but it doesn't matter, he's finding dinosaur bones!!
Around 5:45pm, he has discovered and carefully excavated all pieces of the skeleton. Next he washed them off in the sink, and we assembled this lovely Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton. A proud moment for both of us!
It is sturdier than I imagined it would be, and the joints fit together perfectly!
I asked him what he thought and he said, "I just love dinosaurs. Do you think they have a Triceratops." I'll be looking! 

At the end of our countdown...10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.... we heard, "blast off" instead of "Happy New Year."
